Songbird of the Sage
Liz Masterson
Liz Masterson nationally known “cowgirl historian”
combines songs, poems, and history to educate audiences
(ages 5 years and up) of life in the west. With guitar, award
winning vocals and yodeling Liz brings to life stories of
pioneers, lady bronc riders, and women on the ranch. Since
1982, Liz’s shows have been featured at the Buffalo Bill Historical
Center in Cody, WY, the Smithsonian Institution
and countless libraries and schools around the nation. She
also has a new show, on Music of the Civil War, which includes
Richard Baker, on Appalachian fiddle and claw-hammer
banjo.

Liz Masterson & Sean Blackburn
Since 1988, this popular duo has performed for hundreds of
schools, libraries and family concerts with this educational
and highly entertaining show. The beautifully blended
harmonies, spirited yodeling, soulful guitar, and history
are enhanced with Sean’s comedy and rope tricks to create
a memorable experience for audiences of 5 years and up.
From the Lincoln Center in New York City, to the plains of
Colorado, Liz and Sean have put their brand on the cowboy
and cowgirl life.
