The Rocky Mountain Storytelling Festival has been presented every year since 1989. It
has taken every person attending to a magical place where anything can happen, where
one can relate to other people, where dreams, heroes and heroines, and fantasies are real.
The Storytellers that have been featured throughout the years are the best of the best at
bringing all of this to the audience. After you see what is going on at this year's Festival,
please go to the Festival Archives page and enjoy the storyteller's biographies of the
Festival's past.

Featured Storytellers for the 2008 Festival are:
Perhaps the best-known storyteller in the Southwest and a popular author, Joe presents his tall tales, cuentos, and folktales with humor, drama, and gentle power. (Appearing Friday and Saturday am only)
Dan's songs and stories deftly recreate the history of the West, his pioneering Colorado family, and his own artistic vision. (Appearing Friday only.)
With his background as an ordained minister and tribal member of the Cherokee Nation, Bailey gives voice to many cultures through traditional and original tales and poetry. (Appearing Saturday only.)
Bonnie blends music and stories into an entertaining mixture, then shares her irresistible concoctions with delighted audiences. (Appearing Saturday only.)
Opalanga is a Twenty-first century urban storyteller and a griot in the African oral tradition, who shares her spirited performances with audiences in the U.S., Canada, and West Africa. (Appearing both days.)
