All About COPA
MISSION STATEMENT
Colorado Performing Artists (COPA) is a
nonprofit 501-c-3 cooperative roster of
select professional performing artists
offering educational and cultural
programs for children, families and
charitable organizations.
Based on an organization founded in
1981 known as Colorado Artists Showcase,
COPA restructured and changed its
name in 2004 to better reflect its goals.
COPA is a coalition of professional performing
artists that have been selected
by a jury to represent the best available
talent in the region. Several COPA
artists also perform nationally and
internationally.
COPA holds annual auditions and expands
its talent bank based solely on
artistic merit and community needs.
COPA provides a valuable resource
for many venues: festivals, theaters,
schools, libraries, day-care centers,
PTO’s, churches, synagogues, camps,
museums and community centers.
COPA publishes and distributes an annual
booklet of its performers and their
individual program descriptions.
COPA is NOT a booking agency! All
artists listed in this booklet must be
contacted individually.
COPA hosts major showcases of talent
for various communities so that they
can see what kind of excellent artistic
programing is available.*
COPA roster helps provide performance
events for charitable organizations to
use as fund-raising.*
