Fort Worth, Texas
Tom is a storytelling minstrel, accompanying stories and songs with numerous
instruments. A former councelor and minister, he's expert at using storytelling
in therapeutic and educational settings.
SUSAN MARIE FRONTCZAK
Boulder, Colorado
A dancer and storyteller, Susan fairly revels in ballads, both ancient and contemporary.
She's a master of personal experience story, too. She says, "Give me a place to stand
and I will take you someplace else." We say "Let's go!"
CHRISTOPHER MAIER
Denver, Colorado
As a storyteller, Christopher draws on his varied backgrounds -- a child of
vaudevillians, a flamenco dancer, writer, actor, and singer. Combining these traits,
he creates "Moving Stories", with artistry and passion. His bilingual stories enrapture
all ages.
PRISCILLA QUEEN
Franktown, Colorado
Priscilla blends her love of storytelling and books in her work for Douglas Public
Library District. She's especially fond of sharing stories with families -- and
encouraging them to share their own stories. Silly and scary stories are her
specialty.

Stories from Viet Nam to Colorado, from the mountains to the desert,
from folklore, family and fantasy -- Dennis Freeman tells them all,
deftly and engagingly.
NORMA LIVO
Lakewood, Colorado
As Colorado's foremost patron of the storyteller's art, Norma has a
positive influence on thousands through her teaching, organizing,
and numerous books, but most of all, through the stories she tells.
JOE HAYES
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Perhaps the best known storyteller in the Southwest and a popular author,
Joe presents his tall tales, cuentos and folktales with humor, drama
and gentle power.
BONNIE McNEIL
Custer, South Dakota
The blood of the bards flows through Bonnie's veins, and it is most
evident in her often poetic, sometimes riotous, (but always winning)
tellings of traditional and literary tales.

Julie is a multi-talented musician and storyteller with an international
repertoire -- and reputation! A masterful teacher of voice, story and
numerous instruments, she shares engaging and inspiring stories and songs
for all ages.

Award winning actor, director, professor emeritus of theater at Arizona State,
storytelling activist and, especially, storyteller -- Don Doyle handles many roles

Bonnie's storytelling can be compelling and humorous, personal and universal,
but is always entertaining. When she works in tandem with daughter Heather
the result is pure magic.
HEATHER McNEIL
Evergreen, Colorado
A third generation storyteller, Heather is a powerful dramatic teller, and a
leading light among Colorado storytellers. She is the author of Hyena and the Moon,
a book of stories from Kenya, and a forthcoming edition of Scottish tales.

Recognized for his love of the Southwest, Joe is perhaps the region's best known
storyteller. The author of The Day It Snowed Tortillas and many other popular books,
he has been a featured performer at the National Storytelling Festival and many more.

Brad is enraptured with language -- and its artful uses. Author, poet, playwright,
director of theater at CU Denver, he is always and formost a storyteller of great skill.
CHERIE KARO SCHWARTZ
Denver, Colorado
She weaves an interactive tapestry of teller, tales and listeners. Cherie joyously
shares Jewish and world folklore, family and origional stories for the wonder and
delight of all.

Estafanita also known as Blue Water, is a treasure of New Mexico. She learned
traditional stories as a child in the San Juan Pueblo and enjoys passing
on this heritage to her avid listeners.
ANGEL VIGIL
Denver, Colorado
The multi-talented Angel Vigil is an award winning storyteller, whose specialty
is the oral tradition of the Hispanic Southwest. He is the author of the recently
published story collection, The Corn Woman.
PAM FARO
Lafayette, Colorado
As a storyteller, Pam is playful, warm and energetic. As a musician, she's a
marvelous singer and intrumentalist. When she blends music and story,
the result is magic.

Dennis is Colorado born and Arizona enchanted, a combat pilot in Vietnam,
and ocean sailor and life-long storyteller. He tells truetales, Southwestern legends
and origional and traditional stories. He's expert in the use of
storytelling in education.
DAN McCRIMMON
Denver, Colorado
Nationally-known folksinger and songwriter, Dan McCrimmon, reawakens western
history and breathes life into those who made it, through his songs and stories.
A performer, historian and teacher for over 20 years, his most recent album
Coming West is a gem.
NORMA LIVO
Lakewood, Colorado
Norma is at the center of almost everything good about storytelling in the Rockies.
She's been a positive influence for thousands through her teaching, writing and
organizing, but most of all, through her stories.

A third generation storyteller and world traveler, Sara was awarded a 1991 National
Endowment Fellowship as a storyteller and performance artist. She presents the gamut
from humor to deeply moving, tall tales to epics.

Colorado Springs, Colorado
The beauty, power, rhythm, fun and wonder of language are Greg's stock in trade.
Known to many as "the Poemteller", he's also an author and exemplary educator.
He'll capture your imagination in his web of words.
OPALANGA
